Whatsapp scam doing the rounds warns about user account limitations

Beware of any whatsapp message that states that you have to share something in order to prevent something.

The latest whatsapp scam is claiming that Whatsapp is having some technical issues with the “usernames” of the Whatsapp users, and that the CEO of Whatsapp has asked the personal of Whatsapp to create a message that states that anyone that receives the message should forward the message in order to proof that they are an active Whatsapp user.

There is no direct danger in sharing the message, but it does show that you have 0 knowledge on scams and hoaxes that circulate the web.

The message that is being shared on Whatsapp:

from 11:30pm to 6:00 am daily declared by fb message from Aarohi Deshmukh (CEO of Whatsapp) we have had an over usage of usernames on Whatsapp messenger. We are requesting all users to forward this message to their entire contact list. If you do not forward this message, we will take it as your account is invalid and it will be deleted within the next 48 hours. Please DO NOT ignore this message or WhatsApp will no longer recognize your activation. If you wish to reactive your account, then reshare his message.

So if you do get this message, then simply warn the sender that they are sending a hoax, and that nothing of the message is true.
