Message running on local TV stated that “North Korea appears to have launched a missile. Please evacuate to the inside of a building or go to the basement. Target area: Hokkaido”. At the moment of writing this, it seems that the warning has been cancelled as the missile passed through the pacific.

Officials of Nemuro city in the Hokkaido region of Japan said that: ‘The previous missile passed through the Pacific at around 07:29. It seems to have passed. If you find anything suspicious, do not approach it. Please contact the police or fire department immediately.’
