The U.S. Army Gen. Martin E. Dempsey said in an interview that though the United States generally enjoys a significant military advantage but its not in case of cyber domain and forces are vulnerable to cyber attacks.
According DoD website the U.S. cyber command by 2016 will have 6000 people in 133 teams in its Cyber force missions.
The Cyber Force operate in 3 different core cyber missions as follow:
1. The Cyber Combat Mission Force provides cyber support to combatant commanders across the globe.
2. The Cyber Protection Force operates and defend the DOD information network or DODIN.
3. The Cyber National Mission Force, when directed is responsible for defending the nation’s critical infrastructure and key resources.
