U.S. Defense Rolls Out Secure Chat Web Video Conferencing

U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) released an online collaboration tool ,a secure web conferencing and chat ,instant messaging application for its employees which give them the abilities to use the tool any where in world.

Defense Collaboration Services (DSC) based on open source software allow secure instant messaging for a P2P and multiple users in chat rooms ,moderators controls and manage the information security of web conferencing.

Earlier U.S. army released its forensic analysis code a framework (Dshell) on GitHub which can be used to develop custom analysis modules and understand the network security events.

With use of Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) the employees are able to have secure communications using voice and video and share documents, PowerPoint slides, photo’s and spreadsheets in different formats.
