The Dutch Police, in collaboration with international police organizations, has launched an investigation into Raidforums.com, leading to the platform’s shutdown and the seizure of a dataset containing user information.
The investigation has resulted in the arrest of several individuals who participated in illegal activities on the platform.
The Dutch police has discovered that some user identities are linked to a Raidforums user account, and the police warns the users that data leaked on the platform, including personal data, material, and account data, was traded.
They continued to warn that RaidForums was also used to develop cyber skills that are closely related to committing serious cybercrime crimes.
Perpetuating cybercriminal activities can lead to severe consequences, including a conviction, a criminal record, and confiscation of electronic devices.
The police has taken a firm stand against cybercrime in all forms and urge individuals to be aware of the consequences of their actions.

De Nederlandse Politie en internationale politieorganisaties hebben een onderzoek ingesteld naar de website Raidforums.com. Dit heeft geresulteerd in het offline halen van de website door de politie en het verkrijgen van een dataset met de gebruikersgegevens van het platform. Uit het onderzoek is naar voren gekomen dat jouw identiteit gelinkt is aan een gebruikersaccount van Raidforums. De Nederlandse Politie wil je waarschuwen dat op dit platform gelekte data, zoals pornografisch materiaal, persoonsgegevens en/of accountgegevens verhandeld werden. Ook voor het opdoen van kennis voor de ontwikkeling van cybervaardigheden die nauw gerelateerd zijn aan het plegen van ernstige cybercrime misdrijven werd Raidforums gebruikt.
De Nederlandse Politie verzoekt dringend om te stoppen met het deelnemen aan online activiteiten waarin je het risico loopt de wet te overtreden. Verwijder illegale software of datasets die verkregen zijn via Raidforums of andere soortgelijke sites.
Deelname aan, of verdere voortzetting van cybercriminele activiteiten kan leiden tot verdere maatregelen tegen JOU. Illegale activiteiten uitgevoerd op Raidforums.com (of op soortgelijke websites) kunnen leiden tot:
· Veroordeling: Je krijgt een boete, taakstraf of een gevangenisstraf
· Strafblad: Je krijgt een strafblad. Dit maakt het vinden van een stage of een baan lastiger, maar ook het reizen naar het buitenland wordt hierdoor moeilijker.
· Inbeslagname: Je raakt je computer, telefoon of andere elektronische apparaten kwijt.
De politie treedt hard op tegen cybercrime, in welke vorm dan ook. Je bent minder anoniem online dan je denkt. Kies je er toch voor om cybercrime te plegen? Wees je dan bewust van de consequenties.

· Confiscation: You lose your computer, phone or other electronic devices.
