In today’s digital world, optimizing your website’s SEO is essential. Even if you’re not an SEO expert like Neil Patel, keeping an eye on industry leaders’ tactics can give you an edge.
One strategy that caught my attention while browsing Neil Patel’s website is the use of direct meta-titles to optimize SEO.

He might have written about this, I honestly don’t know. He writes a lot.

After noticing this, I decided to apply this tactic to my own website, Cyberwarzone.com.

By removing the site name from the meta-title, it creates more space for the title in search results, making it more eye-catching and increasing the likelihood of clicks.

To make this change, I logged into my WordPress admin page, navigated to the Yoast plugin, clicked on settings, then content types, and finally, posts. After removing the separator and site title fields, I saved the configuration.
Steps:
- Logged into my WordPress admin page
- Navigated to the YOAST plugin
- Clicked on Settings
- Clicked on Content-Types
- Clicked on Posts
- Removed the seperator and site title fields
- Saved the configuration
Small changes like this can make a significant difference in website traffic and revenue. By paying attention to industry leaders and implementing the right tactics, you can optimize your website’s SEO like a pro.
SEO: An ongoing process
It’s important to note that optimizing SEO is an ongoing process. While implementing a direct meta-title is one effective tactic, there are many other strategies you can try to improve your website’s search engine ranking.
As someone who is not an SEO expert, I believe that experimenting and trying different techniques is essential. By staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, following best practices, and being open to trying new tactics, you can achieve better results.
I am no SEO pro
I want to stress that I am not a professional SEO expert, and the tips I am sharing are based solely on my personal experience.
It’s always best to seek advice from experts and conduct thorough research before implementing any significant changes to your website’s SEO.
