In an attack and a hostage situation at the national museum of Tunisia Wednesday, at least 11 people died, including the two perpetrators.
Earlier today, at least two gunmen opened fire at the National Museum of Tunisia, located in the capital Tunis. In this act of terror at least eight people died and others were severally wounded. After the shooting, the two armed men had taken an unknown number of tourists hostage in the Bardo Museum.
The Tunisian police put an end to the hostage later this afternoon. Among the fatalities were more tourists and an Tunisian police officer.
