Cyber Attack on Japan Pension Network Millions Of Data Leaked

A massive cyber-attack on the management system for Japan’s pension service (JPS)have been leaked about 1.25 million personal information of pension subscribers .including their names and basic pension numbers ,addresses and dates of birth ,reported Japanese  media.

According the report JPS staff computers have been infected with a computer virus attached in an e-mail ,JPS has not so far confirmed an unauthorized access to its core network for social insurance.

Recently U.S. government have announced to extend their cyber defense capabilities to Japan to help the country defend itself against potential attacks from China or North Korea.
