Cell phone stolen while hugging

A so-called antancer act took place yesterday afternoon in Kreuzberg, Germany. A 14-year-old was out and about with two friends in Görlitzer Park around 4.15 p.m. when the trio was approached by two strangers and one of the young men hugged the 14-year-old.

Then the duo continued their way and the teenager noticed that the cell phone had been stolen from his pocket. Alarmed emergency services were able to arrest the two suspects while searching the area based on the description of the perpetrator.

The two 19- and 23-year-olds were transferred to the specialist commissioner for pickpocketing. The elderly, who had previously hugged his victim, no longer had the mobile phone with him.
