British GCHQ Snooped Top international Media Journalists Emails

Documents released by whistleblower Edward Snowden revealed that the British intelligence and security organisation GCHQ have intercepted e-mails of journalists from International news and media organisations.

According the leaked documents e-mails from the BBC, Reuters, the Guardian, the New York Times, Le Monde, the Sun, NBC and the Washington Post were snooped and saved&shared on internal networks.

Snowden documents published by Der Spiegel shows that a GCHQ information security assessment listed investigative journalists as a threat like terrorists or hackers and track targets through their iPhones.
