International passenger flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur form Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 (MH17) was shot down on 17 July 2014,killing all 283 passengers and 15 crew.
Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop’s mobile was hacked during her negotiations trip to the United States, Ukraine and Netherland to get Australian security services and other help organisations in to Ukraine-Russia boardes where MH17 crashed,report The Herald Sun.
Australian Security officials have examined her mobile phone after she return from two weeks trip.
All sensitive communications with Cabinet colleagues and with intelligence and defence officials and police are thought to have been via secure links, not via the phone.
MH17’s downing caused the most serious rift with Russia in decades and led to calls for President Vladimir Putin to be banned from November’s G20 meeting in Brisbane.
