17 million Dutch citizens records vulnerable via Suwinet

Suwinet is a program for Dutch officials, which allows them to get a quick insight in all type of various data records that belong to each individual in The Netherlands.

A post which has been published on RTLNIEUWS claims that Suwinet is vulnerable, as it allows unauthorized persons to access the Suwinet database which holds records of ALL THE CIVILIANS in The Netherlands.

18 months ago, an audit was performed on Suwinet, and the audit report concluded that the Suwinet environment was NOT SECURE, and that it contained multiple vulnerabilities. The same system is also  being used by UNAUTHORIZED commercial collection agencies.

Now, how will The Netherlands DEAL with this PRIVACY ISSUE?!
