Around 100GB of sensitive information was harvested by the cybercriminal(s) which were behind the Ashley Madison hack. Large parts of the sensitive information was published online and some hobbyist crackers decided that it would be a great challenge to crack 15 million Ashley Madison passwords.
Guess what, they succeeded
The hobbyist crackers were able to reveal 11 millions passwords out of the 15 million passwords already. The crackers claim that they want to get the remaining 4 million passwords within 7 days.
