Claims that the Islamic Republic has stopped the killings or canceled executions of protesters are false. These narratives are not misunderstandings or rumors — they are deliberate disinformation pushed to the outside world while the reality inside Iran remains hidden behind a communications blackout.
For more than a week, the Iranian population has been cut off from the internet and phone services. This is not accidental. If the regime were telling the truth about ending violence, there would be no reason to silence an entire nation or block global scrutiny. The blackout exists for one purpose: to conceal ongoing killings and executions.
At the same time, independent human rights organizations and journalists from free, non-aligned media outlets are barred from entering the country. No independent verification is allowed. No eyewitness reporting is permitted. Instead, a carefully controlled narrative is pushed outward while the people of Iran are silenced.
Adding to this, the blackout is not universal. Regime-linked propaganda operatives inside Iran continue to enjoy unrestricted internet access. While ordinary citizens are cut off, these actors are able to manufacture and spread the state’s preferred narrative across social media platforms, creating the illusion that repression has eased.
We do not accept this deception. Every day the international community delays meaningful action, more innocent lives are placed at risk.
The Islamic Republic is not only repressing its own population; it is also widely known as a sponsor of militant groups including Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Popular Mobilization Forces. What is happening inside Iran matters far beyond its borders.
The people of Iran are fighting for justice, dignity, and freedom — not just for themselves, but for a safer world. Silence enables repression. We choose to speak.
