    Regarding the Berlin attack, stories seem to contradict; Anis Amri couldn’t be deported because he didn’t have a valid ID. At the same time, his ID was found in the truck in Berlin, using which he was identifed. 

    If you look closer however, it doesn’t seem much of a contradiction. Anis Amri had an ‘Ankunftsnachweis für Asylsuchende’ which is handed to asylumseeker in Germany for identification. 

    Obviously not a valid ID which can be used for international flights, such as an official passport. And also not a conclusive evidence of someone’s identity…..
