Webcast on "Duqu: Precursor to the next Stuxnet" Tomorrow

You're invited to attend a live webcast hosted by SecurityWeek and Symantec on Thursday to discuss Duqu, the newly discovered malware considered to be the precursor to the next Stuxnet.

Registration is Free:

In the webcast, Kevin Haley, Director of Symantec Security Technology and Response, will present and discuss recent analysis on the latest outbreak findings of this intriguing new malware.

Duqu Background

The next chapter of Stuxnet began recently with Duqu, a new threat whose goal is to gather intelligence in order to conduct a future Stuxnet-like attack. Parts of Duqu's code are nearly identical to Stuxnet's, but it has a completely different goal. Duqu's purpose is to gather intelligence and assets like design documents that will give the attackers the insights they need to mount a future, highly-targeted attack on organizations such as industrial facilities.

We hope you can join us for what is sure to be an interesting and informative presentation. You'll also have a chance to ask questions.

Kind Regards,

Mike Lennon
