U.S. Cyber ​​Command CYBERCOM

On 23 June 2009 the Secretary of Defense directed the commander of U.S. Strategic Command to the U.S. Cyber ​​Command (USCYBERCOM) to determine. Initial Operational Capability (IOC) was achieved on 21 May 2010 and Full Operational Capability (FOC) reached Oct. 31, 2010. The command is located in Fort Meade, Maryland.

Mission

USCYBERCOM is responsible for planning, coordination, integration, synchronization, and direct the activities to operate and defend the Department of Defense information networks and as this, perform full-spectrum military operations in cyberspace (in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations) to ensure U.S. and allied freedom of action in cyberspace while denying the same to our adversaries.

Organization
