University in Kenya attacked by 6 Al Shabab members

The Garissa University College has been attacked by gunmen which forced their way in to the dormitories of the Garissa University College students. The local Kenya news, reported that 14 people had been killed by the gunners.

The intelligence which has been provided by the United States Embassy in Nairobi said that the Al Shabab group is behind the attack, the Al Shabab group is the same group which took responsibility for the attack on the Nairobi shopping mall in 2013. The shopping mall attack took the lives of 63 people.

The police officers have opened fire on the 6 Al Shabab members, and the gunmen have been closed down in one dormitory. The gunmen do still have hostages.
