A 61-year-old male from Ruskin has flied his Gyrocopter though restricted airspace and he also landed his gyrocopter on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol. He did this to deliver 535 protest letters to 535 members of the Congress.
His friends thought that he might put his own life at risk but he did not care about that, he simply found an awesome and fast way to gain access to restricted airspace.
The security officer of the U.S. Capitol stated that the gyrocopter was not detected by the sensors. Well, lets hope that the U.S. Capitol has learned something and that they will also include a action plan for gyrocopters.
