Facebook virus: Unidentified sea monster caught on Plage de Pampelonne

Hackers on Facebook have uploaded a new theme to trick Facebook users to install malicious Facebook applications. This time they are trying to trick people by using a picture of a ‘sea monster’. The hackers promise the Facebook users that they can watch a video where the ‘sea monster’ is showed but all they will get is a malicious application on their Facebook profile that will leak all their personal information to the hacker.

In English the title of the malware is:”Watch this shocking video, the unidentified sea monster caught on Plage de Pampelonne, St-Tropez, France!”.

As you can see above the website is filled with pictures that have only one goal. To trick the Facebook user to grant the malicious application access to their Facebook account.

Earlier this week we found the Facebook generator that is used to create this viral schemes. This generator has been used to create fake pages that hit thousands of online users.
