Cyberwar on ISIL slowed down by US Government

Hilary Clinton has stated that ISIL is an online threat which should not be neglected and that it is important to shutdown any ISIL activity on the internet, her statement is shared with millions of hacktivists around the globe, there is only one big problem.

The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA)

The CFAA criminalizes any kind of distribution of malicious code and unauthorized access on systems. This means that the devices in the United States which are used by ISIL cannot be taken down by “cyberwar”.

The hacktivists and the governments would be trespassing the law if they did, making all the collected information useless in court.
