Last week, the police distributed a detection message for a man who was possibly armed. The weapon turned out to be just a cricket bat. The father of the young man has since then lost his job at the Pakistani embassy.
The man in question is called Assim Abassi,he is a Pakistani diplomats son and he was just on his way to a game of cricket.
That sport is very popular in Pakistan and is often played by the Pakistani community in Brussels.
The resignation immediately implies that the whole family and five children will have to leave the country.
Their residence is linked to the job of father Abassi and he lost his job because of bad journalism.
