Media and the Cyber Attacks on U.S. Banks

and the major media outlets do not seem to take notice.Nada. Zilch. Nothing. When I googled "bank cyber attack", there were nothing much discussed about the recent cyber attacks on our major financial institutions.  On the other hand, the media can still be heavily cover the iPhone 5 release like nobody's business. Personally, I did not find out until my husband's employer was hit this morning and it affected everything. I also found that my direct deposit did not go through this morning as planned.

It seems that a crazy group of foreign terrorists push one simple button and totally f***ed up our commerce system and slow things down within the banks' infrastructure.  Banks are the center of almost everything financial. Businesses can not financial transactions for their businesses including direct deposits for their employees and purchase supplies from other businesses. Individuals and families can not check on the balance of their checking and/or savings account to make sure that they can make a major purchase.

The media outlets did not seem to get the word of several U.S. banks being one-by-one affected by this group of foreign terrorists. Last week it was Chase and Citi. Yesterday it was Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Today they hit U.S. Bancorp. Tomorrow they will be hitting PNC Bank.

And nothing was talked about on the major media outlets about these attacks.

I believe that it is time for the public to be aware of these attacks. Education is very important as well as the information.

End of story.
