Most secure encryption chip hacked!

Deep inside millions of computer is a special chip with the locks to highly guarded secrets. Including classified government reports and confidential business plans. A former U.S. Army computer-security specialist has devised a way to break those locks.

Christopher Tarnovsky discovered the bug on the chip. Although it is difficult to pull off, partly because it requires physical access to a computer. But laptops and smart phones get lost and stolen all the time...

Hackers Attack Turkish-Armenian Weekly 'Agos'

The website of the Turkish-Armenian leading newspaper was hacked Friday. Hackers identifying as "AK Hacker" took over the website and put an image of the murderer "Ogün Samast". Who killed the director Hrant Dink of the newspaper in 2007.

On the hacked website the hackers stated "If you do not fix your reporting in the way we see fit, there will be new Ogun Samasts and new Hrant Dinks."

Agos journalist Sarkis Gureh, in speaking with Turkish TV station NTV,
said that they are preparing to appeal to lawyers and to take court
action.

Hacker "Iceman" gets 13 years

A former security researched who had turned into a criminal hacker has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for hacking into financial institutions.

The hacker named Max Ray Butler (nickname Iceman) was sentenced Friday morning in Pittsburgh on charged of wire fraud and identity theft.

He gained notoriety for hacking into carder forum Web sites. He forced members of those websites to conduct their business trough his own site (cardersmarket.com).

Kingston presents the secure DataTraveler 5000

Wednesday Kingston released the DataTraveler 5000. This USB flash drive meant for government and enterprise customers is secured by SPYRUS technology and gives it 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption, FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certification, XTS-AES cipher mode and elliptic curve cryptography.

FIPS 140-2 meets standards set out by the (National Institute of Standards and Technology) NIST in America.

The Kingston is designed for Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems.
