The Spanish police arrested 32 persons involving the action against child porn on the internet. 14 others got sewed. This is a total of 46 persons involved in child porn.
In total the police got their hands on 118 hard drivers and 911 discs (CD’s and DVD’s ).

The Spanish police uses the software Hispalis to track child porn. They have been searching for child porn pro active. In the last 5 years they busted over 1200 persons that were related to child porn on the internet.
The Guardia Civil has played a key role in the international fight against child pornography with the assistance of a former Spanish hacker, who created the Hispalis software to identify photographs and videos when pedophiles exchange them in peer-to-peer networks. In February, the Spanish police, together with the European Union's Judicial Cooperation Unit and its South American counterpart IberRed, coordinated arrests and seized computers in 17 countries after using the software to identify the criminals
