Communication is the activity of conveying information. Communication requires a sender, a message, and an intended recipient, although the receiver need not be present or aware of the sender's intent to communicate at the time of communication; thus communication can occur across vast distances in time and space. Communication requires that the communicating parties share an area of communicative commonality. The communication process is complete once the receiver has understood the sender.
The internet is a great portal to exchange information -- it is not relevant what kind of information this is. We can use all kinds of ways to communicate. We can communicate by sending pictures, text messages, internet calls and much more. But the main tools we use are the social network sites.
Worldwide people have seen the power of social networking websites -- you can create groups, find people with the same interests and organize things online. With the use of social networking sites people have been able to communicate even if they are suppressed. We have seen this in Egypt, Iran and Libya.
There is always a way
There is always a way to communicate with another. Governments have been trying to silence these communication portals but as they have learned -- the internet is made to evolve with everything.
The speed of development is going so fast that people register at every site they see. I can say that i have at least 7 accounts on different social networking sites. But i do keep in mind what i post online. The danger comes when people forget that what you post online is public to everyone on the internet. With public i mean - If someone is interested in having your information they will find a way to get their hands on it.
There is an interesting video i found on the internet -- they will move on this subject.
