Anonymous posts Oakland city officials’ personal information online

The hacker group Anonymous has reportedly posted the addresses and other personal information of Oakland city officials online. The information appeared on Tuesday on a website attributed to the group, AP said. In a message accompanying the information, the hackers blast police action against members of Occupy Oakland and budget cuts in the city.

The posting contains information on Mayor Jean Quan, Police Chief Howard Jordan and City Council members among others. Police dispersed crowds last month as protesters tried to take over a vacant building in Oakland.
