Trojan Fake Anti Virus

Trojan Fake AV is a detection for Trojan horse programs that intentionally misrepresent the security status of a computer. These programs attempt to convince the user to purchase software in order to remove non-existent malware or security risks from the computer. The user is continually prompted to pay for the software using a credit card.
Some programs employ tactics designed to annoy or disrupt the activities of the user until the software is purchased.

Pink Energizer bunny 'way to world domination' has been stopped by hackers

The Energizer bunny, a USB-powered battery charger available on several online stores has been infected with malware. The trojan Arucer.dll was found yesterday in the driver software. 

The Energizer DUO charger driver software contained the trojan. It listens for commands on port 7777 and once activated, it could download and execute files as well as send information to a remote host. Since it is a .dll file Mac/Linux users were unaffected.

Spanish police have revealed that they have arrested three men responsible for one of the world's biggest networks of virus-infected computers.

All are Spanish citizens with no criminal records and limited hacking skills.
