US National security leaders and 'cyber warriors' are gathering to plot defenses against criminals and spies that increasingly attack the Internet and her users. Notable people as Steve Wozniak (co-founder Apple), Janet Napolitano (Homeland Security Secretary) and Howard Schmidt (White House Cyber Security Coordinator).
These days building virtual fortress walls to keep attackers out and hunting down software viruses doesn't work anymore. Qualys chief executive Philippe Courtot said "We have before us more data moving into the cloud and more sophisticated cyber criminals". "We need corporations, government and community working closer together."
Qualys recently released a service for webmasters to scan their sites for malware. QualysGuard Malware Detection crawls pages of customers websites and looks for iFrames, malicious JavaScript and other badware. The company said they are continuously improving the software.
